Garden Coverage
One antenna covers about 10 square feet. Use this to pick your pack: 1 antenna for a few pots, a planter, or a cluster of houseplants; 5 antennas for a kitchen garden or mid-size raised bed; 12 antennas for a full backyard garden.
Materials
Every antenna is 99.9% pure copper, no plating, no alloy. An 8mm copper rod base with 4mm wire hand-wound clockwise into a tight coil at the top, made to Christofleau's original 1920 spec. Each stands about 12 inches (30 cm) tall above the soil once planted.
Planting and care
Push the copper rod 4 inches into soil. No tools, batteries, wiring, or upkeep are required. The copper develops a natural patina over time.
Push the copper rod into the soil near your plants. The coil catches natural electrical charge in the air and carries it down the rod into the soil. No chemicals, batteries, or wiring are needed.
The design is based on Justin Christofleau's 1920 copper antenna for gardens.
Each pack includes hand-wound copper antennas and a planting guide. The antenna is made of solid copper and inspected before it leaves the workshop. It ships in plastic-free, recyclable packaging.
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days, or up to 5 business days during busy periods. Estimated delivery takes 5–10 calendar days after shipment. US shipping is free, and your tracking number is emailed as soon as your order ships.

A gardening idea from the 1920s that most gardeners have never heard of.
The French countryside, 1920s
In the 1920s, French inventor Justin Christofleau patented a copper antenna for gardens and wrote a popular book on his method. Growers of the era swore by it. As chemical fertilizers took over after the war, his work faded from view, and for decades almost nobody knew it existed.
Electroculture is built on a simple idea: the air around your garden carries a small natural electrical charge. Christofleau's antenna was designed around three steps.
The spiral coil is designed to gather the natural charge in the air above your garden.
Copper is one of the best conductors there is, second only to silver.
The stake guides that charge down into the soil around your plants' roots.
Gardeners use it alongside their usual routine and enjoy seeing what it does in their own beds.
Around 1900, Indian scientist Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose showed that plants produce and respond to electrical signals. His research helped spark a wave of interest in plants and electricity, and many of the instruments he built are still preserved today.
Sir J.C. Bose built instruments sensitive enough to record a plant's response to touch, light, and temperature.

Three simple steps. No tools. No batteries. No upkeep.
01
1 for a pot. 5 for a raised bed. 12 for a full garden.
30 sec
02
Push it 4 inches into soil. 30 seconds. Done.
03
Leave it in place all season. Many gardeners keep theirs in the same beds year after year.
Why gardeners keep their antennas in the ground season after season.
My garden to-do list:
Two pots. Same soil. Same seedlings. Same watering schedule. Same spot in the backyard. One had our antenna planted beside it. The other didn't.

We're not scientists. Two pots, 6 weeks, in our own backyard. The pots aren't even identical: one's striped, one's black. We're sharing what we saw, not proof. Run your own test and tell us what you find.
Five details from the original 1920s design.
What a season with the antenna looks like.
Within 4-8 weeks, gardeners report taller stems, fuller leaves, and more vegetables. The effect compounds. Season two beats season one. Season three beats both.
Most research stopped before 1968. After WWII, fertilizer companies funded the field, and they didn't fund work on free atmospheric ions because nobody can patent the air. The modern silence is about who pays for what gets studied.
Three things. Material: 99.9% pure copper, not painted alloy. Direction: wound clockwise from base to tip, the 1920 Northern Hemisphere spec. Stake: 8mm copper rod base with a tightly hand-wound 4mm copper coil at the top.
One per 2-3 feet of garden space.
4×8 raised bed → 4 antennas
10×10 garden → 12 antennas
One large pot → 1 antenna
Indoor houseplant → 1 antenna
Anytime. Push it into the soil whenever you like and it gets to work right away. Plant it at the start of the season (March through May in the US) and you'll have a full season to watch it. Start later and it still works through the rest of the season. Either way, you plant it once and leave it, so it's ready every season after, too.
Yes. One per medium or large container. Works on indoor herbs, houseplants, indoor tomato setups, and cannabis. Any plant rooted in soil.
No. Copper is an essential plant nutrient. Your plants need it. At one antenna per 2-3 feet, you're nowhere near a level that affects soil microbes. We recommend rotating their position each season for long-term soil rotation.
5+ seasons. Copper basically forever. It just deepens to a richer bronze patina over time, like an old penny.
